The supply of Farmer Dave Free Range Lamb comes from our own properties and from select sustainable family farmers in Queensland, it is sent to a family owned country abattoir in Pittsworth and then to our butcher in Ashmore on the Gold Coast where it is handcrafted into fine cuts of quality premium lamb and vacuum packed to seal in the country freshness.

Farmer Dave Free Range Lamb is a Dorper mix breed (F1 & F2) and is registered by the Meat Standards Australia (MSA) a tenderness guarantee program for beef and sheep meat, based on extensive consumer research.

All beef and sheep meat underpinned by the MSA guarantee has met strict criteria to ensure it meets consumer expectations for eating quality; tenderness, juiciness and flavour, and is labelled according to recommended cooking method.

Farmer Dave Free Range Lamb has become a highly recognisable brand of premium quality lamb in Queensland. 

Over the past 12 months we have regularly sold lamb online and at Farmers Markets throughout South East Queensland to an ever-expanding loyal clientele and now at our direct-to-the-public store in Ashmore on the Gold Coast.

Farmer Dave Free Range Lamb won the Bronze award at the 2008 Sydney Royal Fine Food Show in the Class 1 - Grass Fed category of Branded Lamb on September 9th, 2008.

We were awarded second place in the 2008 Sheep Meat Producer category at the Rabobank Queensland Red Meat Awards hosted by AgForce Queensland at the Brisbane EKKA in August 2008.
