The Australian Olive Association (AOA) is the national body representing the Australian olive industry.
Formed in 1995 as a result of a burgeoning industry that recognised the need for collective action in developing and supporting the industry, it now represents over 800 people nationwide.
Our members are involved in all aspects of the Australian olive industry, from grower (small and large) to processors to end-user and associated business partners and service industries.
We have an experienced Board with members from all states involved in all aspects of the olive industry as well as affiliated associations nationwide.
Each October, the Australian Olive Expo held in Canberra brings together interested parties, national and international experts from the olive industry to discuss the latest in technology and research.
The National Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards and the Australian Table Olive Competition are held concurrently to the Expo to highlight the quality of Australian olive products. |
