Following a tree-change move from Sydney in 2002, the Hatcher Family has worked hard to establish Alpine Berry Farm as an award winning gourmet food manufacturer.
The 25 acre farm is located in the Southern Highlands of NSW, an emerging cool climate food and wine region.
Despite drought, bushfires and plagues of birds in the early days three generations of the family are now happily settled into their new life.
We are proud to say all products are handmade and contain no artificial flavours or colours.
The farm is a beautiful place to live and work – if only we could find a little more time to enjoy the sunsets!
The whole family is hands on at Alpine Berry Farm – even the smallest can find a way to help out.
We are fortunate to be able to employ a small team of extremely passionate people to produce our delicious products and also to assist in the day to day running of the property.
You'll find owners Jonathan and Alyssa in the office or around the farm.
Production Manager Karen is always busy, so busy that she now has the very able Bec assisting her.
Farm Manager Scott is keeping the property productive and is helped by apprentice Ryan.
Emilie and Bec (two hats!) can be found cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
These are all local people doing a fantastic job and Alpine Berry Farm wouldn't run without them.
